Progress continues on the Layout - 08 Jan 2012 Part 2
Over the last week I have been thinking about some of the other area of the layout. One of the industries I wanted on the Layout was a Oil/Petroleum Terminal, so here is the area I have been playing with

I would probably only use two large tanks and put in more sidings for tank cars. Think about how many of those tank cars would it take to fill only one of those huge tanks.
ReplyDeleteEnvisioning the tanks filling the car not the other way around. Tank farm here in Texas that I have work at, are fill from underground piping from the refineries along the coast. The tanks car carry product to smaller distributor along the rail for local distribution.
