Quick Update

I notice some increase traffic stat's this last week so I thought I give a quick update.

The last couple weeks life has gotten in the way of Model Railroading, as I noted on my last weekend update. I have started working on new flooring for the room, completed about half the room this week.

I am also waiting on a order of more switch machine, track and Auto-Reverse modules.

Next week, there will be not much progress as work has me traveling out to New Mexico, but I will get to visit a friend of mine and see the progress on his HO layout.

Structures - 150ft. Pratt Truss Bridge Kit w/ Walkway Kit - Update 1

I got started on the 150ft. Pratt Truss Bridge Kit from Central Valley Models. I have also added the walkway kit.

Here is were I am at after three evening of work

Track Laying - Weekending 4/10 Udpdate

All the track and switch machines are installed to either side of the bridge area. Here a couple of photos of layout as of today.

 I also spend some time cleaning up the room this weekend. I have the new flooring and that needs to be installed, been considering doing that while working on the bridge and put some thought into the electrical/DCC power and control aspect of the layout.

Finished the roadbed for all the mainline. Here are couple photos of the overall layout

I should finish up the mainline in the coming week with the exception of the area where the mainline cross overe each other

I am waiting on a pair of cut stone bridge abutment's and I need to assemble a Central Valley 150ft. Pratt Truss Bridge Kit as shown below.

This will allow me to complete the mainline.
