Been awhile, so here what I have been up to, more work on the turntable pit and bridge.

Added a pit rail from some atlas code 55 track.

Added track and walkway support to bridge, again a piece of atlas code 55.

Cut some strips (approx 10-12" width in N scale) from 1/32" basswood sheet, stain and cut to 20' length.

Started walkway platform on bridge

And cut the opening in the layout for the turntable.

Progress - 15 Jun 2012

A few weeks back I posted a start on the turn table for the yard area. Well that table had some problems and I had to start over here are photo of were I am today with new turntable.

The base with (2) layers of .06 styrene for the pit wall

The bridge with the side plates added.

Both need more work, but that it for now.
