I have setup my unfinished Door Layout to work on and run trains while I develop a track plan and organize the new room. It's been in storage for 22 months. Click on the link above for more photos.
Here the track plan

Walls and Ceiling Finished
Completed Walls and Ceiling. Electrical Receptacles , Lighting and Ceiling Fans installed.
Will be a while before finishing the floor, but room is usable.
Think I will setup my 36x80 Door Layout for now to have a layout to work on and run trains again.
While I work on a new plan for this room.

Been a while since my last post, so here my progress.
Most of the room has been textured and painted
This area is what left to finish, then on to the floor, ceiling lights and fans.
Also note I have added an window air conditioner/heater unit. I now have comfort while working.

Layout Planning has Started
I started with an walk-in design with staging off to the right along back wall. I could not come with a plan that I like with how the staging entered the layout.
After viewing another MMR site that was using a published MR mag plan. This gave me a ideal, so I started again with the following:
The staging loop will be hidden. Based on my calc's I can stage 8 trains (2 per track). I still need to work out the elevations as the exit from staging on the right will need to grade up to the mainline.
Here a couple of 3D views first from room door
Next from a ceiling view
More to come!

New Blog Site
Hello,
I have created this blog site in order to more easily document the progress and development of my N scale model railroad which I currently do not have a name for nor a track plan.
Also this is my first time to use a blog , so until I get a handle on this blogging thing (old dog new trick), more to come.
Please be on the lookout for future posts.
